Brief Bio
Anna Keisar, an Israeli artist, was born in Moscow (Russia, USSR) in 1963. She graduated from the Yaroslavl Art School in 1981. Anna studied at the Textile Design faculty of the Vitebsk Institute of Technology, having received a Bachelor of Arts in fashion and textile design. Between 1986 and 1990 she worked as a fashion designer in the House of Fashion Models in Frunze (Kyrgyzstan, currently Bishkek). Anna Keisar was a member of the USSR Designers Union from 1988 and 1990. She also took part in local and national art exhibitions in 1987-1990. Between 1988 and 1990 Anna was a candidate for the Department of Art History of the Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan. Since 1990 Anna lives in Israel. She was the owner of Fashion Design Studio in Petah Tikva from 1992 till 2019, and since 2004 she became a participant of Israeli and international art exhibitions. In 2010 Anna Keisar became a member of artist communities of Petah Tikva and in 2022 - a member of Israeli Professional Artists Association and Israeli Plastic Artists Association. |
